Dear friends,
I am using tabIndex and it works with my IE 5.5, IE6.0, and the NN6
browsers.
However, it does not work for NN4. After reading online & seeing in my
JavScript Bible that it is NOT COMPATIBLE for NN4,,
I am wondering if there is anyone out there with any ideas ,,as to how I may
get the same tabbing sequence within NN4 without the use of tabIndex??

Hello,
I have been playing with various Googled solutions for capturing the <Enter>
key to suppress form submission.
My first question is whether anyone has a script that works in all common
browsers? The script bellow is IE only. It fails FF 1.0 and NN 7.
Also, if I can trap the keypress I would like to use it to tab to the next
tabindex.

Using ideas provided by some of you I was able to figure out how to get the
names of the parameters fields of a crystal report specified at run time.
The code below just basically puts the data into a comboBox. One thing I
noticed, however, is that this method shows me both the parameters used by
the main report and parameters used by the sub-report(s).

I cannot get the tab settings on an aspx page to work as desired. First of
all, I don't see a way to indicate whether a control is a tab stop. There is
a tabindex property for labels (why?). When I set a specific order for the
tabindex values that does not seem to be what happens on a page when the
user presses the tab key?
My books on asp.net don't even mention tabindex?
How do you control the focus order on an asp.net page?

Hi!
I am new to VB.net but know enough to kind of dive in. I want to make a text
adventure but I am having problems in how I want to store the data for
inventory items, characters and such. Right now, I have three rooms but a
lot of if and then statements on how to tell if they should appear in your
(listboxes) inventory or items in room box.
Any suggestions on where to store this information? Here is a sample of my
code:

I'm trying to finish up an assignment I had for a class and basically I'm
stuck. The program is supposed to take information you've entered, put it
into an array, display it in a listbox and then average the total of numbers.
Right now I have 2 questions. How do I get numbers from my array that are
put into the listbox into the 2 decimal format. I've tried all sorts of
combinations and I can't get it to work. Second, I need to take the...

I need to create a table where each element has certain specific properties.
For example, elements in the first column should always have a range of
0-100, and increment by 1. Elements in column 2 might have a range of
0-360, and increment by 0.1. Altogether there might be 8 elements in
each row.
Since this is basically the same javascript function over and over, I
wonder if there is a way to create some <input> element that might...

Hi I have three questions about the Tab Order that's rendered by default on
an ASPX page:
1. On a page that's all ordered HTML (instead of absolute positioning),
shouldn't the default be that tab order goes by it's order in the page
itself? I'm having a strange situation where tab order is jumping down to the
bottom of the page and then back up to a higher text box in my form. Could
this have something to do with the fact that some of...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
