Hello,
I am in need of parsing a page with a few text boxes and an option list. The current state of the input fields are <input type="text"> there are no id or name attributes, however the option list does have a name value. When I run this: - For Each Item in Request.Form
-
Response.Write(Item & "=" & Request.Form(Item) )
-
Next
I recieve only the option list name and selected option value. Is there a way to parse an input that does not have an id or name so I can get the entered text?
New to ASP so please take it easy on me.
Many thanks,
Jeremy

Hi,
I am trying to get a thorough understanding of a code where a addition or
deletion of records can be done from a list of records. For addition part of
the form, data is being obtained from set of input boxes.
The following is the code being used:
If Len(Request.Form("ID_0"))>0 Then
AuthorID=Request.Form("ID_0")
FName=Request.Form("fName_0")
LName=Request.Form("lName_0")

I need to iterate through a submitted form, inserting data on each pass. In
the past, I have always used form elements that were named with numbers at
the end, like this,
name1 relationship1
name2 relationship2
name3 relationship3
With the above formatting, I could write a For... Next loop to insert all
the data into my database,

Hi, if I had the ID of an input element, how can I find the input's
FORM in javascript?
Basically, given a input's dom id, I want to insert something in the
onSubmit of the Form that that input is in. I want to avoid making the
user have to submit the form's id if possible.
Let me know if my question is unclear...thanks!

I have a bit of code that inserts some extra controls (specifically,
ordinary <input type="hidden" name="MyField"form fields) into an existing
HTML form. However, it is mangling the name & IDs of these controls when
they are rendered:
For example, the PPItemName field is rendered as: <input
name="ctl00$MainBodyContent$PPItemName" type="hidden"
id="ctl00_MainBodyContent_PPItemName" />
Ordinarily, I wouldn't care (and it wouldn't matter...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
