Suppose that I have content that looks like what I've included at
the end of this message. Is there something in the standard
Python library that will help me parse it, break into the parts
separated by the boundary strings, extract headers from each
sub-part, etc?
Do I need to add something like the following to the beginning?
Content-Type: multipart/related;
type="multipart/alternative";

I have a field in an access 2000 database that is actually three lines
of text separated by carriage returns.
Is there a function in the Access version of SQL that will let me
locate the carriage returns and then split the field based on the
positions of the carriage returns?
Or do I need to process the field with Visual Basic?
I seached for an answer to this on the web. I found an answer that

This seems like it should be easy, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
I need to combine text fields from several different records into one
text box for display purposes. Here's the code I'm using: (rstTable is
a recordset)
do until rstTable.EOF
txtBox.text = txtBox.text & rstTable!Description & chr(13)
rstTable.MoveNext
Loop

The TextBoxes in ASP have a weird behaviour when it comes to handling
carriage returns. You can try this :
Create a Webform. On it, place a textbox, set it's TextMode property
to MultiLine.
Place a button. Double-click on the button and in it's event handler,
just type :
TextBox1.Text = TextBox1.Text ;

Using ASP.Net and VB.net
I have textboxes (<asp:textbox id......>) in which the user will be entering
paragraphs.
They are multiline (several rows and several columns).
The carriage returns that the user puts in (return/enter key) do not show up
when the data is retrieved. It is one long line.
Is there any way to make the user's paragraph divisions show up in the
report?

Assumptions
I am assuming that you know or are capable of looking up the functions I am to describe here and have some remedial understanding of C programming.
FYI
Although I have called this article “How to Parse a File in C++”, we are actually mostly lexing a file which is the breaking down of a stream in to its component parts, disregarding the syntax that stream contains. Parsing is actually including the syntax in order to make...

Using the MS Rich Textbox Control 6.0 in Access 2000, I need to concatenate
several RTB controls into a single RTF file. Sometimes two strings will be
side-by-side; other times they need to be separated by a hard return.
For example, say I have the following 4 RTB controls in my form:
RTB1 = "abcd"
RTB2 = "efgh"
RTB3 = "ijkl"
RTB4 = "mnop"

Hi,
I'm trying parse a text file I'm pulling into VB6, but am unable to do like I usually do (Line Input/Print) since the text file inserts two carriage returns at the end of each line instead of one.
I think the program ends because it assumes the second line (which is blank line due to the second carriage return) is EOF. Any suggestions? I'm stumped.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am trying to find an efficient way to perform a special query. Let
me explain what I want.
Let's say we are looking for all description that match "this is the
target". In fact, I want to find records that match those 4 words in
this sequence disregarding the number of spaces (I mean spaces, tabs,
Cr, Lf, etc) between them.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
