I think cursors might help me, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for ideas
on how to solve a problem I have.
Consider two tables, one table contains student information (very wide
100 fields) , the other historical changes of the student information,
(narrow, just fields that record changes).
As an example Table one has STUDENT_ID, STUDENT_MAJOR, STUDENT_NAME,
RECORD_DT and has one student in it.

Hello all, I've made a dataset by using the xsd tool in C#. In the xsd
schema, there are a few tables, each has its own primary key. And, I've made
relation between them.
After all things are done, I can use the dataset class generated to retrieve
data. The problem is that, when I try to delete a parent row (using
RemoveTABLERow method), both the parent and child tables rowcount decrease as

to work on the live server but now it doesn't? I never made any changes to
the application. So, I tried using the application from my machine
(development server) and it works fine. I setup both to use the exact same

when changes have been made in order to perform the update. I tried the
following, which works well, but only if the user changes rows at some
point. If they enter the grid, change a cell, and then click close it does

Here's one that should probably have the sub-heading "I'm sure I asked this

Two users are both looking at the same data, from a database. One user
changes the data and commits it. How does the other user get the updated
view without polling for changes? Is there some sort of callback mechanism
that can be set up on the dataset or connection?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
