Prompted for username, password and domain?

Hi,

I'm developing this simple ASP page that uses
Request.ServerV ariables("Logon _User"). To retrieve the users NT login.
It seems to be working just fine when I have the page on my
developer's machine. AS soon as I move it to the server it keeps
prompting for a logon.

I have anonymous access turned off, and windows authentication turned
on. Is there anything else I need to do?

Please help, I have a deadline to make.

Thanks!!!

Do the users have the necessary rights on the folder where the website
resides? They do need them if anonymous access is swithed on.

Basic vs Integrated Auth.
If the server is on a different domain from the user they need to
authenticate first

Hello, I am trying to create a Webrequest. The used Uri is something like "http://username@domain.com:password@www.shfgshfge.com". Note that the username contains an "@"-character. I tried two ways. Neither does work. 1. Directly creating an Uri: Uri u=new Uri("http://username@domain.com:password@www.shfgshfge.com");

We've implemented forms authentication with Active Directory. We're slowly working on converting our Crystal Reports' reports from a VB6 application into Crystal Reports for .NET in our ASP.NET application. So far, we've got 2 done but we have several more to go. Anyway, we've discovered something which is pretty irritating for our users. When they go to any of the Crystal Reports for .NET and view it, they can see it just fine. ...

I'm working on a web service and I need to pass in user information for authentication. The service needs to meet the WS-Security specification. I need to support two types of authentication for now. The types are: 1) Basic Username & Password 2) Windows user consisting of Domain, Username and Password. For type 1 I know I need to use the UsernameToken XML like this. <wsse:Security> <wsse:UsernameToken>

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
