Hi,
My hosting provider only allows me to use 50 connections to my MySQL
database that my Web site will use.
I don't know what this 50 connections means exactly. Does this mean that
only 50 visitors to my Web site can access my database through my Web site
at one time?
Or does this mean that in my code I can only use 50 connections? and like

I love the HTML Cleaner-upper Tidy... http://tidy.sourceforge.net and I use
it ALL the time after running my .asp's... however (As you can imagine)..
this is a longer process then I want... :
For example :
Run .asp save source, run tidy, examine html source determine where the
error is (IN what line) go to my .asp and find where the html is generated
from... fix it.. run again

Hi,
Every morning around 11am, we run out of database connections. We
have one user, and a bunch of scripts that use that account to connect
to the database. I believe we have a bad script out there that's
routinely chewing up our available connections. I plan on turning on
as much logging as possible tonight. Are there any other tools out
there that can help me figure out exactly which script is generating
the connections?

Hey all,
Here's a question for you, my hosts have told me that that one my pages,
php, was causing their server to reboot because there were too many open
connections and that they should be closed.
Now, correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the connections were closed
after a minute of inactivity.
Does this sound right? Could open connections cause their server to reboot a

Hi.
(this is somewhat similar to yesterday's thread about empty links)
I noticed that Tidy issues warnings whenever it encounters empty
tags, and strips those tags if cleanup was requested. This is okay in
some cases (such as <tbody>), but problematic for other tags (such as
<option>). Some tags (td, th, ...) do not produce warnings when they are
empty.

Hi,
After the response on my request from W3C I'm still unclear about Tidy
vs. Validator discrepansies. That started with <IFRAME> issue, but
there is more as I know. Anyway, this very basic HTML page:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Strict//EN"

Hi,
2 issues left with my tidy-work:
1) Tidy transforms a "&" in the source-xml into a "&" in the tidied
version. My XML-Importer cannot handle it
2) in a long <title>-string a wrap is produced like:
<title>my very long title blab la blab la
Blabla bla </title>
Importer also has got problems with it

Hi
I've a class that creates a connection to a database, gets and loop on a
dataset given a query and then close the connection. When I use netstat

are 2 connections open and in "ESTABLISHED" state. Here is the piece of code
that I'm using, please tell where I'm doing it wrong. Since this class is

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
