ASP file upload - ASP / Active Server Pages

Hi
I am trying to create an asp site that allows users to upload their details to
a database (college project). So far I have got it working in terms of users
uploading ther details from a html form to an access database. So far so good
BUT

I want to allow users to upload an image (photo) and then allow this photo and
info to be display on a page for other users (like the dating websites do!). I
am finding this very difficult as I am a newbie + im a student (therefore cant
afford to buy components)

Does anyone know a free way of doing this - or a web site with a dummy proof
tutorial!! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm confused....whi ch part is the problem. Uploading the image to the DB or
showing it from the DB?
Personally I'd go about this differently. Upload the images to a DIR and
store the name in the DB. It will make life MUCH easier
