For iCounter = 0 To dataset.Tables(0).Columns.Count - 1

Hi
I've been looking a way to put buttons in a column, but almost every example
is for WebForms and I need it for WinForms...
I found a way for doing it, with the DataGridColumnStyle class, but in my
example, the button is unique for the entire grid and it's visible only when
I click the field...
Any help is welcome...

I am having trouble wrapping my head around a datagrid and datasource.
I have it working, sort-of, but I'm having trouble refreshing my views.
Here's what I have:
A dataAdapter and dataSet generated by the wizards.
I click my Orders button, grid displays as expected.
I click my drop down box to filter out some specific records, every
thing works as expected.

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you
have a sample of how to do this?

Hey guys, please HELP
I am going nuts with the datagrid control.
I cannot get the damn control to refresh. I am using soap to get information
from a web service. I have an XML writer output the file to a folder, and
then I read it back into the dataset using the dataset1.readxml. Up to this
point, everything works wonderfully. The query executes, the dataset gets
populated, and I get the results displayed in the datagrid.

I am having a weird problem with my DataGrid that is bound to an
ArrayList. My situation is as follows:
I have two DataGrids on a modal form. The top grid populates an
ArrayList from a file, then the datagrid is bound to it, and it works
fine. The bottom DataGrid is bound to a different ArrayList that holds
the same type as the first ArrayList. Both DataGrids are set to
Read-Only.
The user selects a row from the top DataGrid, then...

I found the following code to transfer datagrid data to an Excel file.
Is this written in C#?... I'm a vb.netter. I'm just not sure where to
place the code to experiment on it. Should I place it in the event
handler for a form button. Is there other ways to accomplish this? I
looked at some on the web and usergroups, but was confused as to the
functioning. BTW my datagrid is enclosed in a <div></divfor ease of
scrolling if that would...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
