I know how to write "Pointer to Function" inside struct or class without
using static, but I have decided to add static to all functions inside
struct or class because I want member functions to be bound inside struct or
class to become global functions. It makes easier for me to use
"struct.memberfunction()" instead of "globalfunction()" when I have to use
dot between struct and member function rather than global function.
I do not have...

Hi,
I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've
created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this
DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is
running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything
is good. If I scheduled the job to run at the time that I am not
logged into the server, Access is not able to print to the printer.
The error is pretty...

I wrote some code in C in a dll which I would like to call from C#.
However I'm stuck because of the strongly typed behavior of C# which makes
limitations.
Here are the prototypes for two functions which I have trouble mapping:
int _SetOption(int nOption, void *pSetting);
void *_GetDataField(int nType, int *npLength);

I am pretty much lost here - I am trying to create a managed c++
wrapper for this dll, so that I can use it from c#/vb.net, however, it
does not conform to any standard style of coding I have seen. It is
almost like it is trying to implement it's own COM interfaces...
below is the header, and a link to the dll+code:
Zip file with header, example, and DLL:...

Hi all -
This problem has been driving me crazy, and I'm hoping the answer is
something stupid I am neglecting to see....
The procedure posted below is part of an Access/SQL database I have
developed. Basically, the user would input a beginning and ending date,
and the query goes and pulls records that meet the following criteria:
1. TradeDate is between beginning date and ending date

Dear All,
The problem of choosing pointer or reference is always confusing me.
Would you please give me some suggestion on it. I appreciate your kind
help.
For example, I'd like to convert a string to a integer number.
bool Convert(const string& str, int* pData);
bool Convert(const string& str, int& data);

I have some .NET 1.1 code that utilizes this technique for encrypting
and decrypting a file.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307010
In .NET 2.0 this approach is not fully supported (a .NET 2.0 build
with these methods, will appear to encrypt and decrypt, but the
resulting decrypted file will be corrupted. I tried encrypting a .bmp
file and then decrypting, the resulting decrypted file under .NET 2.0
is garbage, the .NET 1.1 build works...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
