Sort and list by month

This one is related to my previous question.

My (Access) database contains events. I'd like to
sort and list by month and year, like the example
under here.

Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated.

Torbjorn ,
if you have a Date field in your d.b. (i.e. EventDate ) you have to
write the next SQL...
SQL = "Select event from TABLE1 group by year(EventDate) , month(EventDate )"

say, if you had parallel arrays containing the sales person id, the month, and the sales figures (for that person in that month), sorting on sales figure and preserve the order of figures within the data about the same person: Original Data: id month sales +-----+ +-----+ +-----+ | 432 | | 8 | | 89 | +-----+ +-----+ +-----+ | 123 | | 8 | | 116 |

a function that would: return the 5th element from the end in a singly linked list of integers, in one pass, and then provide a set of test cases against that function. Can we do this in CSharp? If no, then can anybody tell me how to go about coming with the solution. How do u develop test cases for any software you write? Any insight will be helpful.

Hi Have asked before elsewhere but think I will have to rephrase the question. Using MS Access, what's the best way of tackling dates if I want to list all say; birthdays/birthdates in a date field? Many thanks as I'm totally lost on this.

I am having a interesting issue. I work for a University's Career Services department. We collect data from recent grads. I am recreating the online survey we use. I am trying to populate the graduation date with 4 dates. May **, June **, August **, December **. The "**" represents the year of graduation. To prevent having to constantly update this survey I'd like to dynamically create this values. So at page load I want it to check the...

Hi I have a perl script, basically what it is suppose to do is check a folder with files. Now the files are checked using a timestamp with the command ls -l so the timestamp in this format is checked. Now what the script does is it checks the time stamp and creates a year folder if it does not exist and then creates a month folder if it does not exist and puts the respective files in the month folders. If the files are created this month then it...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
