Product catalog advanced search

Hello,
I am looking for some canned scripts to implement an advanced search feature
on a product catalog. Here are the details :
1. product has attributes. Depending on the product family, a product may
have different attributes.
2. would like to dynamically build the advanced search page only showing the
valid product attributes.
3. once i know the attributes, I would fill in a dropdown list box with
those attributes.

I think I know how to do it, but if there was source code already out there
that I could use, that would be great.
Thanks for your time.

Hi all, I want to create a simple disk catalog system with Access. The important thing is that I want to make sure that the database has one record for each file in a certain directory. So, I need some synchronising mechanism. First I should loop through all the files in the directory and see if for each filename there is a record in the database (PK is filename). If not, a

Hi, I am programming a search catalogue with 200000 items (and growing). I am currently using the SQL Server 2000 fulltext engine for this task but it does not fit the requirements anymore. The products typically do have a verbose name, "canadian superapples: red tasty juicy macintosh apple from toronto" and the like. If a customer is looking for "canadian apple" this product needs to match, but also if he is looking for "juicy mac".

I recently bought a new computer and want to install my VB.net 2003, but I cannot seem to find my product key anymore. Yes I have legal version with all CDs and blue box with all the information posters, but none of these papers or even the paper CD wrappings seem to contain the product key. I wonder if anyone can tell me if I am looking at the wrong place or if I truly lost it? And if I indeed lost it, is there a way to gain it again from...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
