first off, be carefull with the use of the word INCLUDE, that's a specific
task.
Now, what you are looking for may be handled by something like this:

I'm ashamed that I need to ask this question. I've been using PHP for almost a year now, and have used HTML extensively in the last few years. Often, when I create a new site, I use include() to add an HTML header at the top of the page and a footer (ususally including a menu) at the bottom. Up to now I've created two or more copies of each header and footer, the only difference being the path to linked files. For example, in

I would like to make use of two separate PHP applications which happen to share some class names; trying to include both from one script results in the expected error, "cannot redefine class foo." or somesuch. Using a fully qualified URL instead of the local file path in the include() would work, except that the applications then do not have access to the users cookies -- the requests are coming from the server itself, not the user. ...

I am quite frustrated with php’s include, as I have spent a ton of time on it already... anyone can tell me why it was designed like this (or something I don’t get)? The path in include is relative NOT to the immediate script that is including it, but is relative to the top-level calling script. In practice, this means that you have to constantly worry and adjust paths in includes, based on the startup scripts that call these...

Hello, I am having problems with an include statement. I'm setting a session variable flag and then including a file, and in that include file I have a check at the top to make sure that the session variable is set, otherwise I stop executing and redirect. My problem is that this works if I use a relative path to the include file, but not if I use the full path. If I use the full path, it does not read the session flag as being set,...

One thing that can make porting C code from one platform to another miserable is #include. In particular, the need to either place the path to an included file within the #include statement or to very carefully define the order in which paths are searched with command line options on the compiler. Both can cause problems, especially when dealing with complex software distributions. It occurs ot me that by extending the C include...

I am trying to do a server side transformation using an xsl:include in my xslt stylesheet. The include stylesheet is stored /Library/abo.Library.xslt and is included in multiple xslts, one example would be /Valuation/ValuationSelect.xslt which is also used on the client side via JavaScript and MSXML2.FreeThreadedDOMDocument.4.0. Client side the include and transformation without any problems but it is when I am trying to do the...

Is it possible to have an include file that resides outside of the web site parent folder? For instance, lets say you have several websites under Inetpub/global/websites/ but the include file is in Inetpub/inc/ I get a file not found error trying file/virtual starting with the root and even using C:/Inetpub. Example Inetpub/global/websites/website1/global.asa

Say you have a file, a.h with an include guard. If you include it twice and look at the preprocessed output, you see there's no sign for the second inclusion. However, if you include it twice - once from a relative path, and once from an absolute one - you see that the second inclusion indeed occurs (enters the file and leaves immediately due to the include guard). Why does this happen (I have my speculations, but I want some...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
