I have just installed VS.net on Windows 2000. I am trying to create a web
application but I get the error "Error when attempting to create or open the
web project located at the following URL: '//localhost/webapplication1'
'HTTP1.1 Inetrnal Server Error'.
Any ideas??? please.....

Whenever I want to create a C# / asp.net based web site, Visual Studio
always requires a subdirectory for the project. So when I make my site,
for example abcinc.com, the web site ends up at
http://www.abcinc.com/abcinc/ or some other subdirectory. How can I
just setup a project for http//www.abcinc.com/ ?

Visual Studio .NET cannot create or open the application. The
likeliest problem is that required components are not installed on the
local Web Server. Run Visual Studio .NET setup and add the Web

Now when I try to create a ASP.NET web application , it tries to create it
in the
website last created and fails .
But my requirement is to create it in the Default We Site mapped to
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot

user must be logged. So i create an aspx page with the CreateUserWizard

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
