Shalom,
I am looking for a system that will:
1. Read a message from a POP3 mailbox
2. Parse the message into its parts
3. Create a record in an SQL server table with selected fields of the
message
4. Upload the attachements to the filesystem
5. Write the path of the attachements to the SQL server record
For security reasons, I want the process to be initiated and approved
by a user.
Since I run my website on a shared server, I cannot install any
components.
If anyone knows of such a system, or something close to it, I would be
greatful for getting a pointer.
Thanks,
Hanan Cohen

Hi There,
I have a PHP script that sends an email with attachment and works great when
provided the path to the file to send.
However this file needs to be on the same server as the script.
I want to develop a webpage where people can send attachments that are
stored on their local PC.

Has anyone used pure python to upload files to a webdav server over SSL?
I have no control over the server. I can access it with all of the
various webdav GUIs such as Konqueror, Cadaver, etc. by using a URL like
this:
webdavs://dav.hostname.com/user_name/uploads
My goal is to upload files automatically with a python script. The
server requires authentication over SSL which I can do with urllib2 like
this:

I have created an IHttpHandler that waits for uploads as attachments for a
webmail interface, and saves it to a directory that is defined in
config.xml.
My question is the following:
assuming that this is suppossed to end up as a component for others to use,
and therefore I do NOT have access to their global.cs::Session_End()
how do I cleanup files that were uploaded -- but obviously left stranded
when the users aborted/gave up writting...

Hi everybody!
I'm decided to develop (at least try) a custom pop3 connector / mail
downloader for Exchange 2003. The question is simple: How do I start? I use
MS Visual Studio 2003 (VB .Net). I want to build an app which first
retrieves all mail from our ISP and then delivers it to every Exchange inbox
folder in the company. So I guess I need first to build a pop3 client and
then manage to reroute those messages to the Exchange inbox...

Hello,
Is it possible to read a CSV from the Client, and bind my Datagrid to the
data in the CSV file without uploading the file to the Server first?
I have tried and in Debug mode on my workstation it works fine, but when I
publish the page on our DEV server it doesn't fine the CSV file from the
client.
Has anyone done this before? If so, how do I do it? I'm new to ASP.net so

Hello,
i want to write a PHP4 script that reads POP3 or IMAP mail and can
decode the possible attachments in the email. I've looked around for
some classes to do this, and found a few, but most of them seem to be
very lowlevel or lacking in functionality. Is there a good script,
class or example for decoding email attachments?
I have used a class called attachmentread, but this class expects an
attachment as disposition: attachment,...

I wrote some code below (Code1 block) which will read a pop3 email account
and will open each email in the inbox.
What I want my code to do is only pull the attachment; as you see below I
basically output everything. Is there an easy way to just pull
attachments? (NOTE, the only attachements that I want to pull are images)

I also tried this, but for some reason the...

You may be wondering why you would want to put your files “into” the database, rather than just onto the file-system. Well, most of the time, you wouldn’t.
In situations where your PHP application needs to store entire files, the preferred method is to save the file onto the server’s file-system, and store the physical location of the file in your database. This is generally considered to be the easiest and fastest way to store files.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
