Hello All,
I have been researching newsgroups and knowledgebase all morning and not
found a solution that would solve the problem I have. I am having an ASP or
ASPX web page that implement a counter functionality and read/insert some
data in a MS Access database on that Windows 2003 server.
The weird part is, as long as the web page is very short in size, I can hit
the refresh button and Internet Explorer will reload the page and display...

I'm hoping someone can help me solve this error since I am at a total
loss here. Usually I don't bother posting on any forums or groups on
the internet and prefer to solve stuff myself but this is a total
mistery.
I have a function inside an ASP page as a result of which I get the
following error message:
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03ea'

Hi,
I have some expression template code that I want to
get to work. I had a typo in it and just spent two
hours to find it, because VC7.1 gave a really weird
error message for it.
This is the code:
template< typename T1, typename TExpr, typename T2>
inline

Hi,
Everything went fine getting a short date format out of SQL into my
DataGrid with this:
<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Created", "{0:d}")%>
Then I got too fancy in SQL and started doing a RTRIM(date) when I was
retrieving the data. That screwed the pooch big time. Suddenly I lost

Hi all :-)
I have a bit of code that chacks for the last day of the Month, and if it falls on a week-end, sets the due date to the Monday after...
I'm trying to get the date to go to the Tuesday afterward, if the last day of the month falls on the week-end and the Monday afterwards is a holiday... to test I set the date to 11/30/2006, to make the due date fall on 12/31/2006 which is a Sunday and makes 1/1/2007 a holiday.
I've put in the...

Every time I jumped to a new month, the app kept popping up the message box
for subsequent months until 2050! If I stayed within the same month (current
month), it worked fine.
Please take a look at the following codes. Nothing special about it.
Please help!!

Private Sub dtPicker1_ValueChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As

Hi all.
Short version: DtPicker goes strange when .Enabled changed in VBA code, looking for solution or good workaround.
Looooong version:
Those of you who have been following various threads here will know that I have a fairly large Access 2003 database (actually split over multiple backend databases and a front-end), which users search by entering criteria on a form.
Among these criteria are three date/time fields. For each, I have a...

Hi everyone. I'm new here, and I think I've got a pretty unique problem (haven't found any solution to this anywhere else), but I'm hoping that someone here can help me.
To be honest, I'm not a DB2 guy. I'm a contractor working for a client who uses a very old AS400 to do their payroll. They're running V5R3. I'm not sure if that refers to the version of DB2 or the version of the iSeries OS that we're running. Maybe they're the same thing. As...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
