Issue with Apache, Jakarta, Tomcat and isapi_redirect.dll

1 New Member
We have been using an older version of isapi_redirect.dll. Until Sunday morning, we had been using the same isapi_redirect.dll driver file (since at least 2004) with Tomcat version 4.1.12 and version 5.0 of IIS (Operating System is Windows 2000). Sunday morning we restarted web services, and when the services came back up we were unable to connect to the content server. The error message on the web page was 404 - page not found. In looking at the event viewer we see an error message that reflects the isapi_redirect.dll could not be loaded. We have tried to remove the virtual jakarta directory and the filter and then "re-intalling" them (bouncing servers, rebooting servers, etc). When we would add the filter all we got was the red down arrow. Late last night we downloaded a newer version of isapi_redirect.dll and were able to get the filter added, but we were still unable to get to the content server. Someone thought that it was because the version of isapi_redirect.dll that we grabbed last night was not compatible with the version of Tomcat that we are running - so we went back to the older version of the driver. Is there anyone that can help me?
