I am trying to setup a site using the Personal Website Starter Kit available
in VS2005, I can debug my site just fine in Visual Studio.
I am also running IIS and am able to connect to my new peronal website using
http://localhost.
I have used the "Copy Website" tool to copy me website to a location on my
harddrive.
I have then set the Default Web Site's homepage in IIS to be the location

Hi,
I have been using a local installment of Apache web server and PHP on
my computer. For some reason it has stopped loading my local web pages
when I enter 'http://localhost' into the browser address bar. For IE it
displays a page not found and Netscape, it redirects me to Netscape
search where it does a search for 'localhost'. I cant understand why it
has been working and all of a sudden just stopped but is there anyway
to fix this...

I know I can use urllib2 to get at a website given urllib2.urlopen(url)
but I'm unsure how to then go through all pages that are linked to it,
but still in the domain. If I want to search through the entire python
website give the homepage, how would I go about it? I don't reinvent
the wheel if someones already written a module for parsing out the links
and drilling through them!

Hello,
I have build a website with approximately 30 html-pages.
When I search this website in Google, I see the index.html or home.html on
this website, but also other html-pages on this website.
When I click in Google on one of these pages (not index.html or home.html),
I am only linked to that one html-page and not to the website itself.
Does anyone know how to fix this. Is there for example a metatag?

Hello,
I've recently installed apache on a new computer, and cannot figure out why my site will not process any includes. (it was working on my old one) There are no errors on the page such as "include not found", rather much of the page is blank where the included menus, etc would be, and the CSS is not attached.

I have a set of ASPX pages that work fine on my home computer (Vista),
and on a server at work (XP). I just got a new laptop at work (XP) and

It works well with the latest WAMP on localhost
when i upload it to the webserver the html file only work
i then signed up another webserver and uploaded the same files and it works there well.
my current webserver tells me they support PHP and works well for them and there is nothing wrong on their side.
