Hi!
I have a VB .NET client that is accessing an rpc/encoded service deployed in Axis 1.2. One of the operations, whoami, returns a string array. The server-side Java signature of this method is
String whoami(MyPrincipal principal)
My .NET client is unable to access the results of that array. The odd thing is that the very same client was able to access the results when the same service was deloyed in Axis 1.1. I've asked the Axis folks...

Hi!
We have a Web Service written in ATL Server and a client written in Java
using Axis. When something goes wrong on the server side, it returns an
HRESULT of the error which is translated into the SoapFault. The problem is
that the SoapFault is interpreted by Axis not as a SoapFaultException, but
as a more generic AxisFault exception with all the info we put in the soap
fault lost.
Has anyone manage to get this to work? Please...

I have to connect to a server set up by the government, where they used

The code I use to interface to the webservice is generated by wsdl.exe,
based on a .wsdl file they sent me.
Now a problem turns up with a date field they implemented as xsd:dateTime,
