Hi,
I am building a asp.net application which has satellite assemblies. When
building the satellite assemblies dll's from Visual Studio 2003 GUI the
application works fine . i.e. the resource dll's of different cultures are
loaded correctly. But When I build the satellite assemblies dll's using
al.exe the application defaults to the culture neutral strings. I am using
the command line below to build my resource dll's.
al /t:lib...

When I build my setup project, I get three files: setup.exe, setup.ini. and
myapplication.msi.
These go into a folder called (setup project)/bin/Release. If any other
files are in that folder, they get deleted.
What I'd *like* is that when I build the setup project, the files that it
creates should go into a directory that I specify, and not delete any other
files that are already in it. That way I can maintain an image of my...

I have a C++ COM Addin I wrote for Outlook (2002) using VS.Net 2002. Having
completed it, I am now looking to create a setup project and install it on
another machine.
I created a setup project and added it to my solution (selecting the
"Primary Output" as the files to include from my project). However, when I
attempt to build the setup project (assuming a clean output directory), I
get "Unrecoverable build error" - and NO other...

Hi everybody,
I have got a serious problem building an HTTPHandler in codebehind style.
I made the following steps:
Create an ASP .net Website project
Add a generic handler.
Rewrite this "Hello World" item into codebehind style so that the .ashx file
has the only line:
<%@ WebHandler Language="C#" Class="handlerpur"
CodeBehind="handlerpur.ashx.cs" %>

Hi,
I hope I have selected the right group for this question, I am looking
for assistance with using VS2005 to create a simple website on my ISP.
Using VS2005 I have created a Website project using the file system. I
am not trying to do any server side programming, for now simple HTML is
sufficient. My site seems to be working fine locally and now I want to
publish it to my Comcast directory. Comcast claims that they support
FrontPage...

Hi all,
I am wondering is it possible to create a physical Directory such as
"C:\Test" using the DirectoryServices namespace.
If so, does anyone have any resources on how to do it? I should also
mention, I am required to create the physical directory on any machine
within the current AD domain.
Kind Regards

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
