Vba code to back up access 2007 automatically

Hello,
I am relatively new to access 2007.I am developing a database at present and need help on how to include a back up button with vba code that will back up the database when a user presses it.

Method depends on how your database is setup.
Do you have a front and back end (split) database or just a all-in-one arrangement?

Yes, many ways to do this. You can even schedule regular backups without requiring the user to press any buttons.

The simplest approach is to simple do a filecopy of the database. This can be rather space consuming on a harddrive though.

If you are in a corporate environment, I would recommend you talk to the IT guys and find out how often network locations are backed up, and for how long data is stored.
