I am using Access 2003 on Windows XP. I am looking to analyse web traffic files using this - I appreciate there are bespoke applications which will do the same task. Each month there are roughly 500,000 records. What I want to do is compare successive records, to calculate new fields at a visitor and visit level. Such as page number this visit, page number all visits by this visitor, time spent on current page, etc.
My table (shown below)...

I work with a highly programmed Access
database (some 15,000 lines of VBA code, much of it automating data
entry on forms -- and believe me, it's very tight code). In Access
97,
2000, 2002, and 2003, no performance problems. However, when I open
the same database in Access 2007, it's as slow as molasses. Data
trickles onto the form instead of an immediate display in Access
2003.
This happens regardless of whether I keep the Access...

I am running a query in Access 2003 to pull training courses with a start date that falls within a specified date span such 2/1/07 to 2/28/07. I was using this code - (( I.STARTDATE) Between #2/1/2007# And #2/28/2007#) - but found this excluded courses beginning on the first and last date of my date range. I changed the code to this - (( I.STARTDATE) Between #1/31/2007# And #3/1/2007#) and retreived my missing records, but found I was pulling in...

I have created an Excel spreadsheet that has a lot of data. What I
want to do is import the spreedsheet to Access and create a form so
that I can print each row per page in a proffessional manner. The
problem is that whenever I import the data to access my dates show up
in 38478 instead of 05/06/05. How can I convert this number back to
the date format in access?

I'm having trouble here with Access 2007 and connecting to a different
database.
The code below works great IF the previous back-end database connection is
still present and you are trying to connect to a new location (ie: datapath
variable below).
However, if you remove or even rename the old database, then launch your
program, the code fails on the mytable.refreshlink line with an error 3044.
(Description of that error is: 'C:\pc

I had to get a new computer this week and I have been running Paradox for the
last 6 years, now I have to use Access 2007. Now forgive me if this question
has been asked a million times hence but here goes. Can I open or transfer
data from my Paradox tables to Access 2007? If so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
I need help. I have a ms access 2003 database that I would like to
upgrade to ms access 2007. The first time I opened I had to fix a few
references it wanted a DAO2535.TLB file witch I gave it, and a
utility.mda file witch I think i gave it. The instructions on
Microsoft's web sight were not very clear where to put the utility.mda
so I am not sure if I have it at the right place. The Database does
not ask for it anymore.
I have...

I think I made a major blunder, and now Access 2007 no longer opens. I made
the mistake yesterday of using the "test" option in wise installer for my
Access 2007 runtime app. It actually installed the Access 2007 Runtime SP-1
(I did have full office 2007 SP-1, however).
I didn't notice a problem until I had to use Access 97. Once I re-opened
Access 2007, I got the usual message about the Installer (as it tries to
repair every time you...

I am now wanting to allow a user to upload an image of themselves along with their text information and have that image stored in a field of the Access 2007 database.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
