rs is not updating

I have this form for users to check if the case is close or not, at the same form user can print the record. My problem is when the user update or click the check box it didn't reflect right away on my table to update. So I put an event procedure and tried it inside after_update and on_click event. But didn't help it at all. Or is there other tricker way to do this. I hope I explain it very well let me know if you have question.

Normally, data is only saved to the table from a form when a save is done explicitly or when the operator moves away from the current record onto another one.

Otherwise, when controls are updated the form merely notes that data is available to be saved and will save it when either of the two previous situations triggers a save of the current record.
