Try compiling your database/code before trying to make an mde file.

So you are saying you had no errors in the compile?

If that is the case how many table defs do you think you have. How many tables, forms, queries, etc.

cheers,

I have 18 linked tables, 28 queries, 35 forms, 14 rpts, 1 macro and 3 mods

I can't think of anything else. When it has happened to me it has been because of a slight error shown up only when the compile is done. But since you say you had no errors when compiling I can't think of anything else.

cheers,
