Justify text in Access Report - Grow/Shrink, and other languages

Hi everyone,
I have installed Stephan Leban's code to create a text box with a justified text in Access Report. This worked perfectly well. However, I need your help with regards to 2 problems:
1- the new text box (which has the justified text) does not allow me to make it grow and shrink to suit my text.
2- also the box doesn't read Arabic text. It shows the letter as question marks.

I am using Access 2002, on a Windows XP.

I would be grateful for your advice.

  1. There are properties (Can Grow & Can Shrink) for TextBoxes on a form. Set these as you need them.
  2. This is a separate question that I don't know anything about. To get an answer to this you should post it as a separate thread (as per the FAQ). Good luck

On your second problem, I have the same issue, using Telugu (an Indian language). There are two solutions.
If you are using Unicode then you have actually install the arabic languages from the Windows XP CD and then select the Arabic language you want as a second language on the toolbar. You can then enter and display Arabic.

The other option, which we chose, was to use a 3rd party software tool from baraha.com which creates Telugu and other Indian languages from a UK keyboard. To see the Telugu you have to install the correct font and set the access control to that font. This is when the text entered stays as ascii rather than unicode
