Hello!
I am currently designing a work order system for our service department. The system will be a place to se what your task should be for today and a possibilty for users to report task's for our service department.
Example:
John discovers that on of our conveyer belts makes a screeming sound. He goes to his computer and sends a e-mail to service@mycompany.no
This email goes to a server which has access running. This access database uses a mail import module (.mdb) that i have gotten from Fabalou.com.
This import module i want to run with a sleep function that checks the inbox (run the module) every 2 minutes or something.
The problem is that when this module tries to contact the inbox you get a msgbox in outlook that a program wants to access your inbox and you have to approve it. Because of this my hole plan is useless if i cannot get outlook to always accept request from access.
Is there anyone her who have a solution to this. Either to fix outlook or to use a different aproach.
If not i have to install access on all computers which should be able to report errors to the service department so that they can use a standard access form.
Please help a Norwegiean fella :)
