Required Field based on another field value

Hello,

In an Access 2003 form, I have a combo box that offers numerous selections. If certain values are chosen (i.e. "Done") then a date in another field in the form must be entered ("Date_Completed"). I'm having a problem figuring this out. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Set the "Date_Completed" textbox to visible or invisible depending on the selection.

Put this code in the after update event of the combo box.

Then in your forms before update event check that the date has been entered where appropriate.
