Folks,
Perhaps someone can figure this out - this is 'the process of my script'
I have a form whereby I can add multiple contacts to a single address.
There is only one firstname/lastname/telephone box - when the user
clicks the add button, I read the values from the form fields and
record them into a hidden text input field. This part works because
during debugging, I have converted the <input type=hidden> into a <input
type=text>...

Hi.
My form contains a control (cboFooBar), which has an underlying field
with the "Required" property set to "Yes". Now, while filling out all
the controls of the form, I have to fill out this particular (required)
control as well.
However further down the form, there is another control, which has to
(under certain conditions) to delete again the content of the (required)
control just filled out before (cboFooBar). This is done by...

I'm checking for required fields, and using the code below, which I normally
have no difficulties with; however, as a twist I decided to return the focus
back to the specific field(s) in question for input.
Under the "Case vbYes" I indicated the two required fields to return the
focus, based on which one is empty, however, I cannot seem to return the
focus. If I only have one field indicated in the code, example;
If Me.txtUDateStart =...

Hi all,
This is probably a really simple question but I have been unable to
figure it out. I have a field () which needs to have a value
entered by the user but only if another field () is not null. By I
have set the default value of () to null. I can't set the
"required" value of the field to yes as it isn't required all the time and
haven't been successful trying to set a validation rule.
Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how the initial value displayed in Combo Box is
determined when a form is opened?
I am loading the dropdown from one field ("CategoryName") of a table, with
"ORDER BY ". The values in the dropdown are loaded in the
correct order, but the initial value is not the first row of the dropdown as
I expected.
The field "CategoryName" is not the primary key for the table -- the PK is

I am pretty good with Access, but do not understand VBA. I have
researched this topic and see only VBA answers, so I hope someone can
help with my specific question.
I have 2 fields for an end-user that must be filled in. I want an error
message for each field. The forms are already partially filled in, and
a user needs to select which record to go to. There are fields for them
to fill in their initials and date , along with
other...

I am using .NET framework 1.1 SP1, .NET framework SDK 1.1 SP1, with hotfix

I have generated a proxy class using wsdl.exe from a schema that has an

If I change the xsd:date element to be optional, then wsdl.exe generates two
attributes for the date field in the proxy class:

Is it possible to use a required field validator and have it make a user
answer a comment field based on a drop down value picked? For instance, if
the user selects "It was terrible", make them have to enter comments before
allowing that page to be submitted.
If that cannot be done, what is the best way to do this. What makes it
harder is that the questions are being placed on the form from a database
dynamically, so we cannot write any...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
