Link Table problem

I have a database that I just put into production (a split database)
named ProductionInventory.mdb. This was a copy of my development
database in a development folder with the original name
DevelopmentInventory.mdb. Before deployment I did the split and the
rename of the db. Now the problem arises where when I alter the folder
paths in the linked table manager on my development database, it
changes the links in my production database. Any clues? Thanks! Dav

I've never heard of that happening. Are you sure you deployed a copy and
not a shortcut to your original? When you open the copy do you get a record
locking file (DevelopmentInventory.ldb) in the same folder?

It sounds to me like your still linked to the DevelopmentInventory
backend.
