Sending a Pivot Table by Mail

I have a series of macros that send various queries as xls files to
clients. The scheduling of the sending is done by calling the macro
from the Windows Task Scheduler

All work great, except sending a pivot table.
I've tried to send via every format available, and I cannot get Access
to send the format as it is displayed on the screen..I just get an xls
file of the raw data, not the pivoted data

Is there a way to do this please?
Thanks
Jerry

Transfer the raw data, then convert to a pivot table in Excel.

Alternative: see if a Crosstab query will do what you want, and
export that instead.

Try a crosstab as suggested or if you have multiple column headings
(which is not possible with the standard crosstab) you could try a
utility like MegaCrosstab. www.megacrosstab.com .I dont want to spam
the group, but it is something that would solve your problem.

Another option is to export the pivot table to excel from the pivot
table toolbar and send the excel pivot table via mail.

Thanks all
Sending an xls file and then manually making the pivot is not an
option. There are just too many emails and files I send weekly for me
to do this. I am out of town frequently and I need the automation.
Also many of the customers are not "pivot wise" and so I do not expect
them to execute the pivot.

I will try the crosstab again..there are ways to make the crosstab
without using the wizard that I found here that might allow me more
flexibility http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/

Thanks

Yes, the Crosstab Wizard is more like the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Doing crosstabs manually is a snap. Then you can do other things
to expand on that..
I have one query that joins four crosstabs of the same data, to
give me sum, avg, min and max for a year by month, against 30
assemblers.
