Microsoft Access User level security wizard

1 New Member
Hi,

I am newb to post thread. I have completed my database design and then I use user-level security wizard to secure my database. Everything is quite done. After I've change some code to my original one, I want to decode my db without using login form. I use encode/decode wizard. But I cannot open the decoded database directly. I got permission restriction msg, "You do not have the necessary permissions to use 'C:\....\test.mdb' object, pop up while opening it.

Anyone knows how to solve it? Happy to get reply :)

Hi,

And if you try to run Decode database?

I've never tried to Encode decode database? I know that this is to securise the database but in one manual I've read that it's better to do a copy of your database before encoding :)
