combining multiple crosstab queries into a query or temp table

I have 4 crosstabs which are keyed on a managerID field. I want to
combine them to provide the data for a graph. I currently have them
combined in a union query to produce 4 rows of data for each manager by
month. What i think i need is to change the orientation so i have a
column heading that represenst each crosstab, a manager ID column and
a month column.

So far ive thought of making a temp table using make table on one of
the queries and then do the same for each crosstab. Then combine all 4
into 1 query and use this as the source for my graph. This just seems
a bit tricky and im hoping someone could enlighten me as to a better
way of doing this

Many thanks

You should look at this book, Microsoft Data Analysis, by Michael
Alexander, very recently published. I have not read it all the way
through, but I know it talks about crosstab queries, which don't
transfer to SQL Server BTW.

ISBN: 978-0-7645-9978-1

There are also things on the Internet about dynamic crosstab queries:

with the union query so its all good now i=and i have my graph which
changes on each change of manager
