Design question regarding a table join

So far I need to store 2 components: Departments and Supplies.
My problem:
Multiple departments may own the same inventory. How do I join my
supply table with the department table. Do I need an itermediate table
? If so what would the field keys be ?

Thanks

Very professional of you, Larry. And you complain about Don Mellon!! You are
beneath him.

If you are tired of seeing Larry constantly on his soapbox being nothing but
boisterous and seldom saying nothing worthwhile but trying to sound like
someone with three lifetimes of experience and just butting into everything
that is none of his business, complain to:

ab***@verizon.net

Should you decide to do so, be sure to include some examples of his
worthless posts in the newsgroup. They won't be hard to find!! Star with
hius boisterous claim that he is one of the original signers of the
Constitution and as such every newsgroup reader ought to bow to him in
homage.
