The process is this
1) Open the Relationships window (Tools/Relationships)
2) Select the tables you want from the dialog presented
3) Click on the primary key field in the parent table and keep the left
mouse button (LMB) held down
While keeping the LMB pressed down drag the mouse over the child
table (the mouse pointer changes to a horizontal rectangle while you are
dragging)
Let go of the mouse button
A dialog appears which shows the Primary key of the parent table on
the left and the field you "hit" when you let go of the mouse button on the
right
Change the fields as appropriate if required.
At this point you can add extra fields if you are using a
multi-field key
You can then set the Enforce Referential integrity options if you
need to
4) Click on the Create button and you should now see a line between the
two tables.
Alternatively:-
1) Open the Relationships window (Tools/Relationships)
2) Select the tables you want from the dialog presented
3) Choose the Relationships/Edit Relationship menu item
4) Click on the Create New ... button
5) Select the Parent table where it says "Left Table Name"
Select the Child table where it says "Right Table Name"
Select the Primary key field from the Parent table where it says
"Left Column Name"
Select the Foreign key field from the Child table where it says
"Right Column Name"

Hey,
I want to create links between my two tables. The primary keys of these
two tables are character variables, with length =11. I followed exactly
the instruction of Dummuy Book for ACCESS 2003. I click the primary key
of table A , and hold and move the mouse to table B. But nothing
happened. No line, no error reminders. Does anyone know what's
happened? Thanks.
