MS Access ODBC -- Connect failed!!

I wrote about this one a while ago, and got a few responces, but
nothing resolved the issue. Figured I'd give everyone one more crack at
it.

I have an established MS Access database using linked tables to an
external MS-SQL datasource, through ODBC. I can establish the ODBC
link, I can link the tables in a new MS Access database (File -> Get
External Data -> Link Tables...), I can view the structure of the
linked table(s), I can querie the tables and view table data. When
trying to run a form which uses multiple linked tables & queries, the
application responds

ODBC -- call failed.

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Communication link failure (#0)

After running the form, all tables and queries respond w/ the same
error. If the system(s) that try to run the process are moved to a
third-party location (ie. my house), the error does not occour. The DSL
provider to the office states no ports are blocked. Linksys (router
manufacturer) states ports 1433 & 1434 are Stealthed but not Closed.

I'm the 6th person to be driven mad by this one, and could use any help
anyone can provide...

thnx!
