Query to increase number by 1 for a field

Hi,

I wanted to find out how I can create a query that will increase the count
by 1. I have a mysql table linked to an access table. However, I loose the
autonumber key when I link the tables, and when a user enters a new record
they have to guess what the next number will be.

Thanks for your help.
Take care,
Smriti

NewNum=Me.RecordsetClone.Count+1

You might have problems if you have lots of simultaneous users,

Hi,

Thanks so much for your e-mail. I'm not sure where to put this
expression? Should it occurs each time a new record is entered.

Thanks Kindly,
Smriti
