could not find the object 'MSysACEs'.

Following a crash while using one of out Microsoft Access databases, the
following message appears everytime we try to open it.

"The Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find the object 'MSysACEs'.
Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and path name
correctly."

Any idea how I can reinstall, repair locate this file again? Other Access
databases run fine from the same PC, and the error message appears on other
machines if you try to open the database.

This is Office 97 running on a Windows 98 machine.

Many thanks

Martin,

MSysACEs is one of the sytem tables that reside in every Access db.
Try to create a new db and to import all the objects again.

Good luck
