Access 2007 - Warning - Can't find object or library

I've recently installed Access 2007 on my windows xp system.

I opened access, opened a new module, entered some code and when I attempted to save the module, a dialog box with a warning came up...

Can't find object or library.

So I tried a few things and suddenly, it saved the module, but under a name I did not want to use. So I tried to rename the module, and I got the same error, and the system will not allow me to rename the module.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Check your References.. sounds like a broken reference.

Open your VB Editor, go to Tools>References. If there's any errors they'll show in that listing.

If there's not an error, then you need to add a reference for whatever code it was you added. If you cant figure it out, post the code here.

Thanks, I got it. Turns out I had my Access file in a folder that was not listed as trusted. It seems that even if you click OK that you trust a particular file, funny things happen if you don't run your file out of a trusted folder.
