Access database with OLE objects that are searchable

Does anyone know how to do the above? I want to set up a database that
contains excel files, but be able to search the files for text strings

Cheers,

Karl

Two options:
1. Link to the Excel files and do your search through the linked tables
2. VBA code to do the search
