Help! query keeps getting erased by itself

Hello,
I am working on an Access database. For some strange reason, my query
keeps getting erased by itself. The SQL view of my query object looks
like this: SELECT *
FROM emp
WHERE l_name=forms!frmmain!txtlname;

After the query is erased, the query object is still there, but the
SQL view is completely blank.

I don't know what triggers this. It seems sometimes it happens after I
close and then reopen the application. Sometimes it happens without me
closing the application. I have one line of code in my Main form and
it looks like this:
Me![subfrmSelectedEmp].Form.RecordSource = "qrylname"

Would the above code cause the query to be erased?

I am really confused. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you have any code in ANY modules that do something like
Set qdf = ....
qdf.SQL = ""
or
Dim strSQL As String
qdf.SQL = strSQL
and strSQL is blank (but you think it has a value)?

If you aren't setting the SQL for a query via code anywhere, I suggest
going to http://groups.google.com then advanced search. Enter something
like query erase in the words list and *access* in the newsgroup box and
search. You may find something there.
