backup/recovery: compression command line multispan utility

I'm writing backup/recovery procedures for a database (microsoft access xp)
that I want to sell, so I'm looking for a command line
compressor/decompressor multispan to symple export the database and I would
like not to pay for every license I will sell.
I would like also that the compressor is a simple .exe file to simply
redistribute copying it into the same directory of my database and calling
it through access vba.
Anyone can suggest me the above mentioned compress/decompress software?

Does it exists some source code in vba or in any other programming language
to realize this?
