odbc - failed

I have a access 2002 database. I used the "link tables" to link with
SQL Server 2000. The table has above 400 records. When i open the
table to view the databse and closed it right awawy, then re-open it.
I got the "odbc - failed" error. This really annoys me. I am using
windows 2000. Does anybody know why?

Thanks
