Text Import Wizard Interface Problem

Access2002/WinXP

Has anyone come up with a resolution for the text import wizard GUI
breaking down after installing patches? When building a new table
using the gui, the cursor moves to the second field (and beyond) but
all changes are still being made to Field1. I know you can edit
directly using the field grid on the advanced tab but its still a
kramp in the keister to remember what the source is supposed to be,
especially with sparse data sets.
