We have 4 stations that will use a new access 2002 database.
Would I have to install access on all 4 stations and
designate one as the server?

You will need Access on all computers. It would be best to put the "back
end" database (the one with just the data tables) on the server, and
"front ends" (containing just code and data access forms) onto each workstation.
