Access97 to WinXP from Win98

I just upgraded my OS from 98 to XP. Have a db written in Acc97 that worked
fine for years. Now, I can't open many of the forms etc, etc.

I am not a programmer, but took a year or so to study Access and wrote a
nice database for myself, so now of course, I am at a loss as to know what
is going on.

I had made a note to myself that when I switched from Win95 to Win98, I had
to reload and repath several librarie files. I am assuming that this is
hopefully my problem again. When I opened my module in design mode, I
clicked on Tools only to find references grayed out. I have the libraries on
a floppy disk that I surely must need to load, but with references grayed
out, how in the heck do I do that?

BTW, the library files that I have used are:

VBEext1.olb
MSACC8.olb
DAO2535.tlb
MSCAL.ocx

Perhaps some of these would not be required by XP? Anybody know?

Thanks and I would appreciate any help.

Yes, it appears to path-related problems...

On this win2k that I have,

file:
DAO*.tlb is found under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\DAO
msa*8.olb is found under c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
mscal.ocx is found under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10

apparently, your vbeExt1.olb has been replaced by a newer (office
update or installed by visual studio?)
file.
I'm showing vbe6ext.olb in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\VBA\VBA6

Apparently, VB6 is needed by Office 2k for installation that I
discovered trying to install that package on my system. If you don't
have that vb6 'tree' let me know and I'll see if I can get it to you
somehow (if you don't have some other package that'll install the VB6
base .dll's first).
