Problem Duplicating Forms in Access 2000

The following problem seems to manifest itself in Access 2000, but I
have not experienced it with Access 97.

When I make a duplicate of a form before I make design changes to that
form that I may want to reverse, it seems to screw up the code for the
whole database. This seems to be caused by some sort of conflict
between the code for the two identical forms.

Obviously, if one doesn't have a recent backup, they have a major
problem on their hands.

Has anyone experienced this behaviour, and is there a way around it?

I believe that I did this in Access 2000 without a problem. However, I
wonder if it is a side effect of the following article. If it is, I believe
that the vbe6.dll file mentioned in the article is updated in Office 2000
SP3.

Thanks very much Wayne. That was the problem. I think I'll just use
Access XP in future and use Access 2000 to compile the mde if I need
it in Access 2000 format.
