how to find a subdirectory without a file name

I need to find a subdirectory (..."\nicknames\") but have no idea what if
any files might be in it (I need to write to it). I know in various cases
it appears in various places, depending on the installation option chose by
the user. It is often not in the same location as eudora.exe.

The routine fSearchFile needs (and only uses) the file name for a search,
and wild cards don't work in it. Is there a fSearchSubDirectory out there
somewhere?

If you know what the locations are going to be you could simply use the Dir
function - see the help.
