Employee schedule - monthly and daily

1 New Member
Hello,

I am using an excel template for employee monthly scheduling. However I am finding it a bit hard to keep track of things and run reports, so I would like to convert it to access.

I am having a bit of a problem creating a report that will display the date/day of the week on the rows and the shift the employee will be working on column for each employee.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I see a lot of people selling templates, but I don't have that kind of money.

Thanks,
GP

Hi Everyone, I am using the following code (many thanks for the code folks BTW) to generate 3 schedules in three tables one is a schedule with 7 day intervals and two are daily schedules. The two daily schedules seem to have out of sync dates at the start of each schedule. The dates look as if they may be dates from the preceding loop.

Hello, This is my first post and I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Sorry this is so long but it's complicated. I'm a USAF Officer and I'm attempting to make a shared MS Access DB that contains Training, Certification and Scheduling of Crew Members. I've got most of the back-end done (Tables with Relationships) and I'm happy with the Training and Certification sections. I'm having trouble with the Scheduling Part. The Table is...

Can anyone give me some pointers as to how to construct a form or forms that will allow me to see a schedule of meeting rooms Booked or Available as a nice visual display. The Query that holds the data for the schedule will have the following fields: RoomName, StartDate, EndDate, BookedBy. It needs to look a bit like the Outlook calendar (not all users have Outlook), I do not need to see the times that rooms are booked/available, I just...

Now that I have your attention ;) Here's what I would like to do. I would like to design Access to automatically generate a monthly schedule. Here's the catch, I have three shifts (8-4,10-6, and 12-8). Each worker is rotated daily through these shifts. To do it by hand it is somewhat random placement and EXTREMELY TEDIOUS. The shifts are only Monday thru Friday. Now heres another catch. The 8-4 shift has to have 2 people, and the 12-8...

Good Afternoon, I am working on solving a scheduling problem for a company. Here are a few facts: The company begins projects up to several times each week. This year they have 75 projects that have either already started or will start before the end of the year. Regardless of when the project is completed, all are considered 2018 projects if they begin on any day in 2018. Each project is composed of a predefined set of tasks. Each...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
