Unexpected error 35012

Here is my problem: Microsoft Access crashes frequently when I am opening mdb extension file. The 'Unexpected error 35012' message pops up.
Can anyone explain whats happening and provide a solution? How to open the file?

It sounds like either the file has problems or your Access installation has.

Things to try (Keep backups of everything before you make any changes) :
  1. Open the file on another machine.
  2. Re-install Office or Access.
  3. Compact & Repair the file.
If none of the above work then you can search the web for providers who can recover properly corrupted database. No-one here is allowed to post links to specific sites as the rules strongly prohibit such behaviour (I will happily ban the accounts of any that try).

If it comes to it then I can give you at least one recommendation if you send the request via PM. I've not used it myself but have heard tell from others that it works in many cases. I doubt you'll need that though. I expect most services offered will do a good job. I hope you won't even need to go that far.

There you go. Moths to a flame. Forewarned and about as bright as a moth too.

Hi, We have an ASP.NET web application hosted on a development server, that invokes web services hosted on an offshore server in India, both being on the same intranet domain. The default page of the application makes a call to a service and is painted successfully. Navigation to any other application page, which invokes the same service throws the error, "Underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on receive"....

A VB6 program that I created has been installed on a wide range of computers and networks without any problems. Win 95, Win 98 and XP so far.. Occasionally, however, the function refuses to start on some systems, with the only response being a critical error: 'Unexpected Error!', without even trying to run. Well! I didn't expect it, either! Re-compiling and re-installing doesn't change anything. The program is nothing really...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
