Hi,
I have a form when loaded, retrieves record from an access table. Among
other fields there is a check box called FinalUpdate. This is tied to a field
in Access of type Yes/No.
The form retieves the values perfectly. This form is being used to update
the record in the table via a successconfirmation.asp.
Now, when the checkbox is loaded as checked, then unchecking the checkbox
reflects the change in query result in...

I have a query written in MS Access that has a few calculated fields. Is it
possible to refer to that query in a form field. I'd like the form field to
show the sum of one of the columns from the query I've written. I've tried
to put the following in the form field's control source property but I'm
getting an error. Query1 is the name of the query and CalculatedTotal is
the calc'd field column I'm trying to get a total for in the form...

Hi,
Searched the forum and found a lot on passing form input to aquery but not the other way around. Here is the situation:
I have a timesheet form based on a subform query that asks the user for the Month and their last name. The fields in the table being updated include: FY, Month, Employee ID, Task Number, hours. The query then displays the results in data sheet view on the form. I have been asked by users to display total they...

Ok maybe i'm stupid because i want something really simple and can;t figure it out.
I would like to display the number of records in a query on a access form.
To be precise i made a database for printing c-cards and would like a form displaying how much of which cards are waiting to be printed. I can calculate the number of records by creating a total query, but can't display the result on a form.
Any ideas anyone?
thanks in advance,

Hi Everyone,
I'm having problems with putting a result from a totals query in a form which is based on aother query. If I add the totals query to the form query, I'm not able to add or delete records on the form.
I tried to add
Val() to bypass the problem but no luck,
I tried to create a txtbox on the form to access the totals query directly =tblRRNewPropertyPrice3!NPPricePerWeek and came up with #Name?
I suspect because the query...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
