Hi,
I have a table with list of schools with teachers, gender, county, district etc. I would like to generate a report of each school with the details of teachers etc. from the selection of a school from a combo box dropdown list.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Oscar

Stoic,
When you create your report, use a query that uses the value in that Combo Box as the crteria for the School field. Then, whenever you select a school, only the info for that school will show up on the report.
Hope this helps.
Hi twinnyfo,
Thanks for the add; I think you are grasping the idea I am wishing to have. Example: I have a table with names of schools, county, teachers etc.
Now, I want to have a form example "report form" with a combo box with the list of schools and a button that populates, when click, the information of the school with the list of teachers in my report I have formatted as "List of teachers by School".
Can you help me with that?
Thanks.

Stoic,
When you build your query, in the criteria section of the query builder, right click, then select "Build..." and you should be able to set as your criteria one of the text boxes on your form. This way, the query will only select the records that meet that criteria. Then, use this query as the record source for your report.
Could you show us what you have so far? It's impossible for us to "build" that for you without your database, and most of us have jobs, too! ;-)
If you show us what your are working on and then describe in detail what "doesn't work" we can move forward from there.
Thanks...

I want to create a form that searches a table. The hard part is this,
I'd like to have the available records filtered based on combobox
selections. For example, if this were a vehicle database, I might want
to filter by AutomobileType, Year, Make, Model, Color. In this case it
would work like this:
First all of the records are available, that is, every kind of auto.
So I select from my AutomobileType combobox "2003". Now I only have...

I have an ordering form that use two combo boxes to filter down the

Everything worked well until I decided to enhance the form by changing
the second combo to an option group. Now I don't know...

I am quite skilled with Access, VBQ, ADo, etc. but to I can no longer
ignore the demands from clients to provide WEB enabled forms for their
data - so hence I have begun to develop DAP's for some.
I have discovered that my combo boxes in a header (for record
filtering) will not display more than 10 records. I have set the page
property "pages' to "All" and that cleared up the amount of records
bein filtered but I cannot seem to change...

Hi, I'm new to Access so this is probably a stupid question.
I am creating a patient database. I want to create a form in which you
enter a SSN # and that person's name and ID number will appear. The
purpose of the form would be to see if the patient has a previous
record or if the patient is new. I can't use dropdown lists or
anything because I can't have SSNs accessible or patient info showing.
Basically if you don't already have the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
